We are delighted to introduce our Educational Tours programme for 2008/09 offering a range of suggested itineraries to a wide variety of destinations throughout Ireland, UK and mainland Europe. The suggested itineraries include a balance between educational content, pupil involvement and fun! However, we recognise the need for you to include your own ideas to create your own unique tour.

Pupil Tickets
Translink sell home to school single or return pupil tickets for the full school year! These great value for money tickets provide a convenient way of meeting your school travel needs.

School Bus Service Enhancements
School transport is a very imporant part of Translink’s business. Ulsterbus and Metro bus services carry 65% of the total 110,000 school children of Northern Ireland who travel to and from school by bus each day. More...>>

Proof of Age Card
It is the passenger's responsibility to demonstrate at the time of ticket purchase, that they are entitled to the concession they claim. Passengers unable to do so will be charged the full adult fare. Young persons wishing to avail of concession fares can obtain a Proof of Age Card from any main bus or train station. Safety

Every day Translink transports approximately 65,000 pupils to and from school. Our aim is to provide a safe and efficient transport system to the community and we believe our local schools can play a role in assisting us to achieve this.

Translink have produced an Educational Safety DVD and Learning Pack for young people called 'Travel Safe'. This pack has been specifically developed for use by Key Stage 3 pupils and their teachers.
