Better services

Translink, in conjunction with Stormont Estate and Travelwise NI, offer useful services to get you to and from work.

You can also Park and Ride at Translink Stations, car share, cycle or walk – it all helps save on petrol and the stress of driving.

Park and Ride bus services are available at Black’s Road and Sprucefield to Europa Buscentre. A direct service, Ulsterbus Express 208, is available from Europa Buscentre to Stormont Estate.

Ticket information

There are some great value for money fares and tickets that help cut the cost of your commute... 

You can save at least 25% compared to cash fares with a Metro or Ulsterbus Smartlink Multi-Journey Card. You can load your Smartlink Card with up to 40 journeys.

A Metro Smartlink Weekly or Monthly Travel Card offers savings with unlimited travel throughout the Metro network for one week or one month. It’s cheaper than filling up the car with a tank of petrol.

Get unlimited travel for 7 Days or a rolling month (between any two designated stations) with a NI Railways Weekly or Monthly ticket. Monthly tickets valued at £75 or above also provide unrestricted travel over the entire NIRailways network at weekends.

Ulsterbus Through Tickets to Stormont:
Available on all Goldline Ulsterbus Express Services arriving at Europa Buscentre - add-on a £1.10 single or £2.20 return ticket to Stormont on Ulsterbus Express Service 208.

PlusBus:
An add-on bus Adult Day Travel ticket which you can buy with your normal train ticket. The bus Day Travel ticket provides unlimited bus travel on Ulsterbus Town Services within one town or all services in the Metro network.

Annual Commuter Cards:
Great value travelcards available for Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus journeys. Valid for one year and offer 20% saving compared with monthly travel. Unlimited travel between two chosen points Mon - Fri and Translink network wide at weekends.

60 SmartPass:
Over 60’s travel free on presentation of a valid 60 SmartPass.
