Search Tips
- Try typing only single words to relate to a specific location. For example search for Europa rather than Belfast Europa Buscentre. The timetable search finds it easier to search for a single word rather than a phrase.
- If you cannot find the service you require by using the timetable search please refer to the journey planner.

Advanced Searches
- As well as simply typing in a location or service number into the Translink Timetable search engine, you can use the words AND, OR and NOT to perform more advanced searches.
- For example, if you want to search for a timetable with the origin and destination (or any points en route) 'Armagh' and 'Belfast' in (but not necessarily together as a phrase), simply enter 'Armagh AND Belfast' in the timetable search field.
- You can also search for a range of timetables which may meet your travel plans. For example if you are travelling from Belfast and your destination is Carryduff you can search for services which operate to/from Belfast and serve either Carryduff, Newcastle and Downpatrick. You should type 'Belfast AND (Carryduff OR Newcastle OR Downpatrick)' to display all relevant timetables'
- Remember, you must type the words AND, OR, and NOT in uppercase for them to work in this way. In the unlikely event of you wanting to search for the word 'AND' (or any of the other special words) in a timetable, you can turn off its functions using the / (backslash) character. So entering '/AND' will search the Translink site for timetables containing the word 'AND' in uppercase characters.
Wildcards
- You can use the wildcard character, * (asterisk) to broaden your search.
- For example, if you are not sure whether a timetable will include Whiteabbey or Whitehead, you can search for all timetables containing words beginning with 'white' simply by entering 'white*'.
Using Quotation Marks
Put quotation marks around keywords if you want the search to take them literally.
Example
- "Belfast, Europa"
The timetable search will literally look for the complete phrase Belfast, Europa. But if you type the same query without the quotation marks:
- Belfast, Europa
The search searches all timetables for the words Belfast and Europa on the same page. This search would also include all occurrences of the phrase Belfast, Europa.

Simply type in an Origin, Destination or Service Number to find relevant timetables. You can refine your search by using the word AND between two points to return timetables which serve both locations. For example typing Armagh AND Belfast will return timetables serving both Armagh and Belfast.
