Translink Rail Safety Competition 2010 - Stay Rail Safe - NI Railways - Translink

Ten pupils at each school won sessions with an artist and filmmaker to see their film ideas inspired by safety brought to life, as they get to make their own short film.

The initiative targeted to Year 8 pupils, offered schools and community groups the opportunity to make their own short safety film. To enter, young people worked together in teams to develop a story board with a rail safety theme. 

This competition is part of Translink’s ongoing campaign to promote responsible behaviour on and around public transport. The three short listed schools completed their workshops from April to June.
    

The three completed 60 second films are now available to view! To vote online for your favouite film, all you need to do is view them in our YouTube page. The most popular, i.e. the most viewed out of the three will be the winner. The winning team will be announced and awarded travel prizes in September.
